Presence and moments
Residents
Section titled “Residents”Residents are mapped to Home Assistant persons. They are imported on first start and appear on the pinboard in Notes. Tapping a name renames the person. Each person has a colour that follows their notes and their calendar.
Presence
Section titled “Presence”Three switches under Settings → Appearance → Ambient & standby, all off by default:
- Wake on motion. A sensor from Windows & motion brings the panel out of standby.
- Dark when nobody is home. While every assigned resident is away, standby stays black.
- Personal greeting. Whoever comes home first is greeted in standby, with their own notes on top.
Moments
Section titled “Moments”Small celebrations that do not need a setting for every case:
- Birthdays from the family calendar show a quiet morning confetti and a line in standby.
- Special days such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Easter can be selected under Settings → Content → Calendar & Reminders → Special days for moments.
- The first snow of the season is noticed once.
